Herman joined Verdane in 2024, having previously spent two years in McKinsey’s Private Equity and Principal Investors practice in New York where he supported clients on commercial due diligence and strategy projects. Prior to McKinsey, Herman spent eight years in the military. 

At Verdane, Herman focuses on existing holdings and new investments within the energy transition and resource efficiency space.  

Herman holds an MBA from Columbia Business School where he received Dean’s Graduation Honors and a BA in Military Studies from the Norwegian Military Academy.
