Hiring: Marketing Manager (UK)
Position: Marketing Manager, full-time
Based out of London
Verdane is looking for a committed Marketing Manager to join Elevate, our specialist in-house team of operational experts. Elevate team members partner with investment teams in due diligence processes and with Verdane holdings in value creation and operational excellence projects.
Verdane aims to be the preferred growth partner for tech-enabled businesses in Northern Europe. The number one priority for our new marketing manager will be to develop and execute a marketing and communication strategy to support this overall goal. Thought leadership and awareness building across markets will be crucial. The marketing manager will contribute to our overall positioning, and conduct tactical activities and case-by-case pitch support. You will be working closely with investment professionals, and your peers from the Verdane Elevate Team, and you will be managing a team of two people. You will spend most of your time working hands-on and your key skillset lies within corporate communication.
Key contributions from the person filling this role will be:
- Create a marketing strategy and execute on a tactical marketing plan, overall and per market
- Set goals and measure our performance in owned, paid, earned media
- Manage a small team
- Use relevant marketing tactics to support and enable our investment professionals
- Be the go-to person related to company pitches and corporate communication
Professional background and qualifications
- Background within marketing and communication, M&A, and financial sector experience is an advantage
- Solid corporate communication skills
- Good interpersonal, and communications skills overall
- Team player with organised working habits and project management capabilities
- Relevant education
- Native English speaker
