Verdane announces Emanuel Johnsson as new Partner, team promotions and ten new hires

October 23, 2019 – Verdane announces its promotion of Emanuel Johnsson from Principal to Partner, in recognition of his contribution to Verdane’s growth and performance since joining in 2014. The firm further announces 3 new Principals, 2 new Investment Directors and welcomes eight Associate hires and one Analyst to the team.

Based in London, Emanuel Johnsson has played a key role in Verdane’s recent expansion to Germany, by sourcing new investments such as HornetSecurity, smava and Searchmetrics. Besides from establishing a Verdane track-record in Germany, Emanuel has sourced and actively supported management in Nordic based portfolio companies such as Eniram (exit 2016), Hive Streaming, inRiver, JSB (exit 2019), LiveArena, Polytech and Jupiter Group (merged with BACH industries 2017).

Prior to joining Verdane in 2014, Emanuel spent five years in investment banking, focusing on cross-border mergers and acquisitions within the broader enterprise software and consumer internet industries.
