Verdane realises investment in Bildeler.no

Bildeler.no

Verdane, the lower mid-market European investment firm, today announced that its portfolio company Bildeler.no has been sold to Evity, a Swedish long-term active owner of high-quality small- and medium-sized companies in Northern Europe.

Verdane first invested in Bildeler.no, a leading Scandinavian marketplace for automotive spare parts, in 2019 and has supported the company through a period of continued development and strategic progress.

Over the last six years, the company has expanded to include a leading B2B offering and to become a trusted supplier of spare parts for the electric vehicle market.

The Bildeler.no marketplace will continue to operate under its new ownership.

Max Carlsén, Principal at Verdane, said: “When we invested in Bildeler.no in 2019, we saw a strong business with a compelling value proposition and clear potential to scale. Working closely with the management team, the company has taken important steps to strengthen its platform and position itself for the next phase of growth. We believe Evity is a strong new owner for Bildeler.no and wish the team every success going forward.”

The transaction marks the successful conclusion of Verdane’s partnership with Bildeler.no, reflecting Verdane’s strategy of investing capital in tech-enabled businesses with clear development potential and supporting them through active ownership.
