Verdane, the European specialist growth equity investment firm, today announced a partnership investment in Ashcourt Group, a leading UK-based provider of waste management and sustainable construction materials.
Ashcourt Group has established itself as a trusted partner to the construction industry across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East of England. The business offers a comprehensive range of solutions including recycled and virgin aggregate products, waste recycling services, ready-mix concrete, haulage and plant hire, supported by a substantial operational footprint, logistical network and strategically located sites. The company has pioneered the increased use of recycled materials by using its state-of-the-art facilities to carry out the collection and sorting of waste from the construction and demolition sectors, as well as general commercial, industrial and municipal sources. Ashcourt Group recycles several million tonnes of used material annually, producing a range of sustainable aggregate products, including washed sands and pipe bedding materials.
Ashcourt Group’s products offer cost-effective, high-quality solutions for construction projects, helping its clients achieve their environmental goals without sacrificing competitiveness. The company’s recycling and resource recovery initiatives reduce landfill dependency and carbon emissions. Its recycled aggregate products also reduce reliance on extraction of virgin aggregates, which, while necessary, carry a higher environmental impact.
The partnership with Verdane will accelerate the company’s growth and allow even more customers to access the company’s sustainable construction materials through operational enhancements and geographic expansion.
Verdane was advised by Colbridge Atlas on the transaction.
