Simon Betzler Director
Simon joined Verdane’s Berlin office in 2019, having previously worked at Deloitte Digital Ventures and founded his own company in Munich and Berlin. At Deloitte he worked as a Consultant, helping clients ideate and build new digital business models mainly within e-commerce and consumer internet. Prior to Deloitte he started his own company, an online shop for various products such as crafting and household supplies.
Simon focuses primarily on existing holdings and new investments in German companies within the e-commerce and software sectors.
Education: Simon holds a BSc in Management and Technology from the Technical University of Munich and an MSc in International Business from the Stockholm School of Economics. He also holds a CEMS Master’s in International Management obtained at Copenhagen Business School and the Stockholm School of Economics.
