Peter Roberts Chief Sustainability and Commercial Decarbonisation Officer
Peter is the Chief Sustainability and Commercial Decarbonisation Officer at Verdane, where he champions the company’s sustainability initiatives and commercialisation of decarbonisation-focused investments.
Prior to joining Verdane, Peter worked at H2 Green Steel, a leading Swedish clean-tech start-up, as Head of Strategic Projects and Chief of Staff to the CEO, in addition to roles within strategy and sustainability. At H2GS, Peter led the development of a best-in-class steel carbon footprint model and world-first dual-ledger GHG accounting system, in which he co-authored a white paper.
Previously, Peter worked as a manager at Bain & Company, helping industrial companies develop their decarbonisation strategies, as well as over a decade of experience within the energy and CCS sectors.
