Peter Finden Bamrud Head of Analytics
As Head of Analytics, Peter leads the firm’s data science team, consisting of a data engineer and a data analyst, and oversees data analytics and data warehouse activities with a vision of enabling data-driven decisions at Verdane and through the Verdane ecosystem of holdings.
Data collected by the data science team is used to:
- provide relevant benchmarks for the Verdane ecosystem of holdings
- ensure that actionable insight is displayed and acted on by the appropriate stakeholders
- ensure good data and data quality management
- generate operational efficiencies through automation of old-school data handling
Peter joined Verdane’s Oslo office in 2018 as a financial controller responsible for controlling, budgeting, internal portfolio reporting and financial auditing. He holds a MSc. in Corporate Finance from the University of Reading, where he distinguished himself in multiple business analysis award programmes including the CISI Educational Trust Award and the CFA Research Challenge.
