Per joined Verdane’s Stockholm office in 2007. He has extensive experience as an entrepreneur and as a manager in the financial services and technology sectors. Per was the founder and CEO of the two leading online brokerage houses in Scandinavia, Avanza and Nordnet, both listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. He also serves as a board member of Swedish insurance company Skandia since June 2014.
Per combines his entrepreneurial background with professional experience in corporate restructuring, management, and consulting from OMX, Accenture, and the investment bank Öhman Securities, where he was an analyst. Additionally, he has been active in building companies such as JHC Securities (U.K.), United Brokers and Fortissimo.
Education: Per holds an MSc in Engineering Physics and Computer Science from Uppsala University (Sweden) and University of Berlin (Germany), and was an attendee at the Stockholm School of Economics Advanced Management Program.
