Nikolaj joined Verdane’s Copenhagen office in January 2024 as Senior Decarb Project Director. He has worked for more than 10 years with large asset projects ranging from liquid bulk storage, over offshore wind to Small Modular nuclear Reactors and across the project lifecycle from Project Development, through Procurement and Operations.

Nikolaj brings a diverse experience from large corporates spending more than 16 years in A.P. Moller – Maersk and Orsted as well as a couple of years in the start-ups Copenhagen Energy and Seaborg Technologies. With depth and the breadth of his experience Nikolaj will support both the assessment of asset project-based potential holdings and the elevation of the asset project capabilities of Verdane holdings to execute projects on time and within budget.

Education: Nikolaj holds a MSC in Finance and Strategic Management and a Business Diploma in International Business, both from Copenhagen Business School
