Jon André Løkke serves as an industrial advisor for Verdane Capital’s decarbonization investments and is the CEO of Njord Carbon, a joint initiative between Verdane and Södra developing large-scale permanent carbon removal projects (BECCS). He also holds various board positions and manages private investments.
Jon has extensive expertise in decarbonisation, having served as CEO for Nel (2015-2022) and Norsk Titanium AS (2012-2015). From 2002 to 2012, he held multiple positions in Renewable Energy Corporation (REC Group), including CFO, head of Sales & Marketing, and other operational roles.
He currently holds the position as Chairman of Bergen Carbon Solutions ASA, Tunable AS, and Cavendish Hydrogen ASA. He previously held the position as Chairman of Hydrogen Europe and board position in various other companies.
Jon holds an International MBA from Glasgow University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Southampton University. He is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Norway.
