Verdane may collect and process personal data received when persons interact with Verdane, for example in connection with email or telephone communication, visits on Verdane’s website, following Verdane on social media or subscribing for newsletters, attending events or applying for a position at Verdane.

The personal data Verdane process may consist of contact details (e.g. name, title, address, telephone number and email address), identification details (e.g. date of birth, personal identification number, passport details) and other information (e.g. information about the organization you work for, information about you in application material, etc.).

 

Processing of personal data

Personal data is processed by Verdane in order to identify and evaluate business opportunities, maintain and develop contacts with investors, advisors, suppliers and co-operating partners, and for business development, statistical and risk management purposes. Personal data may be transferred between Verdane’s offices in order to achieve the above-mentioned purposes.

Verdane may process personal data to perform contractual obligations and comply with legal obligations. Verdane also has a legitimate interest in maintaining business contacts and develop the business, and therefore, in balancing relevant interests, Verdane may also process personal data as a result thereof.

Verdane will not disclose personal data to persons outside Verdane, except: (i) to the extent agreed by you, (ii) to service providers and professional advisors subject to confidentiality obligations; (iii) when required to make the disclosure by law, in connection with legal proceedings or otherwise upon governmental or regulatory request; or (iv) where Verdane believe it is necessary or appropriate to protect its rights or property.

 

Retention of personal data

Verdane will retain personal data during such time as is necessary in order to maintain a business relationship with the person or the company or the organization which the per-son represent.

 

Your rights

In accordance with applicable data protection legislation, you have the right to request information concerning your personal data that Verdane process and how this is used. You can also request that personal data concerning you is corrected if such is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that your personal data is erased, that the processing of your personal data is limited or to object to the processing of your personal data, and, subject to certain conditions, to have your personal data transferred in electronic form.
