Hiring: Market Research Manager (SWE/NOR)

Verdane is looking for a market research professional to join Elevate, our specialist in-house team of operational experts. Elevate team members partner with investment teams in due diligence processes and with Verdane holdings in value creation and operational excellence projects.
Verdane is a heavy user of market research services related to commercial due diligence projects. Our new market research manager will be responsible for building in-house market research capabilities and for services delivery for our investment teams as well as portfolio companies. You will provide end-to-end guidance and project execution in a combination of running your own projects as well as facilitating outsourced projects. You will have full market research domain ownership but will be working closely with investment professionals, portfolio company professionals, and your peers from the Elevate Team.
Key contributions from the person filling this role will be:
- Deliver world-class market research services for the Verdane ecosystem
- Capture and create best practice market research framework, content, and execution models
- Educate investment teams and portfolio companies within your domain so that we as a company become better at leveraging market research
- Identify, establish and build relationships with external partners, sub-contractors as well as full-service providers
- Be the domain owner and go-to-person for any project or request related to market research
- Track and stay on top of trends and new technologies within your domain
Professional background and qualifications
- A few years relevant experience from the market research industry, ideally in an international context
- Broad market research skills: project scoping, info collection methods, survey design, interviews, competitor intel, market sizing, data management, analysis and presentations
- Solid project management capabilities, experience from due diligence projects is an advantage
- Good interpersonal, and communications skills including consolidating research and presenting findings
- Solid statistical, analytical, and commercial skills
- Data oriented mindset
